Naazo operates as an online ticketing platform that facilitates the sale and distribution of event tickets on behalf of independent event organisers (“Event Organisers”).
For purposes of POPIA:
- Event Organisers are responsible for determining what attendee information is required for their events and ensuring such collection complies with applicable laws.
- Naazo acts as an Operator, processing such information on behalf of Event Organisers to facilitate ticket sales, attendee management, and event administration.

Naazo acts as a Responsible Party for personal information collected directly for platform administration, account management, marketing, and website operations.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Account Information
- Full name

- Phone number
- Company / Organisation name (where applicable)
- Account login credentials
2.2 Ticket & Event Information
Depending on event requirements, we may collect:
- Attendee names
- Attendee email addresses
- Attendee phone numbers
- Designation or club name (if applicable)
- Identity numbers or government-issued identification details (where required by the Event Organiser for age verification, venue security, regulatory compliance, or fraud prevention)
Where identity numbers are collected, Naazo processes this information on behalf of the relevant Event Organiser.
Identity numbers are not used by Naazo for marketing purposes.
2.3 Transaction Information

Naazo does not store or process full card payment details. All payment transactions are securely processed by authorised third-party payment gateways.

We use tools such as Google Analytics to collect:

Event Organisers may use attendee information for legitimate event administration purposes. Naazo is not responsible for how Event Organisers use personal information once shared in accordance with the event requirements.

- Ticket launch notifications
- Promotional offers
- Platform updates
You may unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link in marketing emails.
Transactional communications (such as ticket confirmations and event updates) are necessary for contract performance and cannot be opted out of while you hold an active ticket.
