NAZO TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Naazo website, platform, and ticketing services (“Platform”).

By accessing the Platform, purchasing a ticket, creating an account, or using any services provided by Naazo, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Platform..

2. Nature of Service

2.1 Naazo is a digital ticketing platform that facilitates the sale and distribution of event tickets for approved events and event organisers.

2.2 Naazo acts as a technology and ticketing service provider and is not the organiser, promoter, sponsor, venue owner, or manager of events listed on the Platform unless expressly stated otherwise.

2.3 All events listed on the Platform are organised and managed by independent Event Organisers, who remain solely responsible for:

  • Event planning and execution;
  • Event safety and compliance;
  • Venue management;
  • Event delivery;
  • Compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

2.4 When purchasing a ticket through Naazo, the agreement relating to attendance of the event exists between the ticket purchaser and the relevant Event Organiser.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Users may be required to create an account to purchase tickets.

3.2 You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information;
  • Keep login credentials secure;
  • Accept responsibility for all activity under your account.

3.3 Naazo reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts that:

  • Violate these Terms;
  • Engage in fraudulent activity;
  • Abuse chargeback or refund systems;
  • Attempt unauthorised access to the Platform.

4. Ticket Purchases

4.1 All ticket purchases are subject to availability.

4.2 A binding transaction is formed once payment has been successfully processed and confirmation has been issued.

4.3 Tickets issued through the Platform are electronic tickets and remain valid only if obtained through official authorised channels.

4.4 Tickets may not be duplicated, altered, reproduced, or resold for commercial gain without prior written authorisation.

4.5 Naazo reserves the right to cancel or invalidate tickets obtained through fraudulent or unauthorised means.

5. Refunds & Cancellations

5.1 Refund requests must be submitted in writing to info@naazo.co.za.

5.2 Cancellation More Than 30 Days Before Event

A 25% cancellation fee applies to the ticket value. Processing and service fees remain non-refundable.

5.3 Cancellation Less Than 30 Days Before Event

A 50% cancellation fee applies to the ticket value. Processing and service fees remain non-refundable.

5.4 Cancellation Less Than 7 Days Before Event

A 75% cancellation fee applies to the ticket value. Processing and service fees remain non-refundable.

5.5 After The Event

No cancellation or refund requests will be considered after the event date.

5.6 Special Considerations

Where documentary proof is provided confirming death or medical incapacity preventing attendance, cancellation fees may be waived at Naazo’s discretion.

5.7 Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed within 7–14 business days and returned to the original payment method where possible.

5.8 Cancellation fees are intended to reasonably cover administrative, operational, and processing costs associated with ticket reservations and cancellations.

6. Ticket Transfers

6.1 Tickets may only be transferred through approved Naazo processes where transfer functionality is available.

6.2 Each ticket must be assigned to a unique attendee email address.

6.3 Tickets may not be transferred to an email address already associated with another valid ticket for the same event.

6.4 Duplicate attendee registrations are prohibited.

6.5 Naazo and/or Event Organisers reserve the right to deny entry where transfer or registration rules are violated.

7. Event Changes & Organiser Cancellations

7.1 Event Organisers reserve the right to:

  • Change event dates, times, venues, or schedules;
  • Modify line-ups, speakers, or programming;
  • Postpone or cancel events where necessary.

7.2 In the event of cancellation or postponement, refund eligibility will be determined by the relevant Event Organiser and applicable law.

7.3 Naazo may assist in communicating updates and facilitating approved refunds but accepts no responsibility for event delivery or organiser conduct.

8. Entry Policy & Age Restrictions

8.1 Certain events may be restricted to persons aged 18 years or older.

8.2 Valid government-issued identification may be required upon entry.

8.3 Entry remains subject to venue policies and R.O.A.R (Right of Admission Reserved).

8.4 Failure to provide valid identification where required may result in denied entry without refund.

9. Payments & Processing

9.1 Payments on the Platform are processed through authorised third-party payment service providers.

9.2 Naazo does not store full card or banking details used during payment transactions.

9.3 Processing fees, platform fees, and transaction fees may be non-refundable.

9.4 Naazo reserves the right to delay, refuse, or cancel transactions flagged for fraud prevention, compliance checks, or suspicious activity.

10. Fraud Prevention & Chargebacks

10.1 Naazo actively monitors transactions and platform activity for fraud, abuse, unauthorised access, and suspicious behaviour.

10.2 Where fraudulent activity or payment disputes are suspected, Naazo reserves the right to:

  • Suspend transactions;
  • Restrict account access;
  • Cancel affected tickets;
  • Request additional verification documentation.

10.3 Users engaging in fraudulent or unlawful conduct may be permanently banned from the Platform and reported to relevant authorities where appropriate.

11. Limitation of Liability

11.1To the maximum extent permitted by law, Naazo shall not be liable for:

  • Event cancellation or postponement;
  • Changes to venues, schedules, speakers, or programming;
  • Loss, injury, or damages occurring at events;
  • Acts, omissions, or conduct of Event Organisers, venues, or third parties.

11.2 Naazo’s total liability arising from any claim relating to the Platform shall not exceed the amount paid by the user for the relevant ticket transaction.n.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Naazo, its directors, staff, partners, and affiliates against any claims, liabilities, losses, damages, or expenses arising from:

  • Your misuse of the Platform;
  • Violation of these Terms;
  • Fraudulent or unlawful conduct;
  • Event-related disputes or claims involving your actions.

13. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, designs, logos, graphics, text, and platform materials remain the property of Naazo or its licensors and may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, or used without prior written permission.

14. Data Protection

14.1 Personal information is processed in accordance with Naazo’s Privacy Policy and applicable South African data protection legislation, including POPIA.

14.2 By using the Platform, you consent to the collection and processing of personal information necessary for:

  • Ticket processing;
  • Event access management;
  • Customer support;
  • Fraud prevention;
  • Platform analytics and operational purposes.

15. Force Majeure

Naazo shall not be held liable for failure or delay in performing obligations caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including:

  • Natural disasters;
  • Public emergencies;
  • Government restrictions;
  • Power failures;
  • Network outages;
  • Strikes;
  • Pandemics;
  • Acts of God.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

17. Changes To These Terms

Naazo reserves the right to amend or update these Terms at any time.

Updated versions will be published on the Platform and become effective upon publication.
